Behold, we have a new queen of fashion buzz! And – gasp! – it's not America's favorite raw meat fashionista.
Kate Middleton dethroned the eccentric singer as top style buzzword, according to a new survey by the Texas-based Global Language Monitor of buzz words in print, on the Internet, and in social media. Gaga came in at a close second, followed by the words "sheer" and "shirt dresses." (Hey, at least it wasn't Justin Bieber's haircut.)
It seems Kate glided into first after wearing her stunning blue Issa dress for the official engagement announcement. She might just keep her place in buzzword line if her wedding gown – to be revealed on April 29 – lives up to fans' expectations.

GaGa is an entertainer, she is a Performer and dresses for shock value. You cant compare, they are completly different kinds of style.
EVERYONE is more fashionable than Lady Gaga. She herself was more fashionable before she became Lady Gaga. She's got no talent whatsoever and she can't dress herself properly at all. The world would be better off if she were confined to a padded cell for the remainder of her life.
Hats off to what you replied. I think that she is digusting along with many other women in the celebrity community. Style is not just dressing elegant. It is acting and speaking with class!!!

While I don't necessarily fancy ALL of Miss Gaga's attire, behavior, or music, I can most certainly appreciate the design and craftsmanship that goes into ALL that she does.
And for gracious sake, she's 24 years old!!! That's enough to be jealous of in itself -- not to mention her millions, minions, mastery & mind!

If you had any moral values, you would not be saying such things. Lady Gaga may seem a shock value entertainer, but she does not try to be. Lady Gaga is her own person, and what she wears is just how she expresses herself. How can you say she is horrible and disgusting? Stefani is a very nice, caring, kind, respectable woman! For God's sake, know who she is first before you dismiss her as some "evil, reptilian spawn from Hell covered in make-up."

I agree! I love Lady Gaga! I love the way she dresses and the way she sings. She is the best thing to come along since the Beatles. I should know. I am 65 years old and was a die hard Beatles fan. I like Kate also and the way she dresses. They are two different people in two different walks of life. They both dress perfectly for each of their life styles!

Two different kinds of fashion... Lady Gaga is the avant garde. Kate Middleton.... I suppose is haute couture. Frankly I don't like how Kate dresses...a little boring for me. I never would imagine wearing something Lady Gaga would wear, just like most people didn't want to wear stuff Madonna wore. How many women have you seen wearing a traffic cone braw, even in Madonna's heyday. BTW I like how people on here follow suit in ripping on Lady Gaga. "Let's all tear her down!" Is it because she is very talented, very popular and actually can write her own songs? Kate's going to be a wife. So far she's done nothing for our culture. At least Lady Gaga has given us something different, not the same old white bread, boring pop, In time maybe Kate can do something like getting rid of land minds... but otherwise, she's boring. Not hot fashion, not interesting--yet. Hopefully her wedding dress is amazing and one of a kind. Otherwise this whole discussion is a moot point, IMO.

You look rather rude correcting the above poster. If you don't have a comment about article then why bother posting at all? If you are just out to be rude to people then you should just remain quiet.
Now for my comment about the article, I think it is an odd comparison by any means. I do not listen to the kind of music that Gaga sings, it is not really my style. However, everyone knows who she is and what she dresses like. She and Kate are in two completely different walks of life. I think a better comparison would be Gaga and Jessica Simpson (strictly an example). They are both in the entertaining field. Kate is about to be welcomed into a royal family. A better comparison for her would be someone also in the royal realm.

Lady Gaga is a minimal talent. Could not make the semi's on Idol. Marketing and wardrobe make her. Check where she is in 5 years. then check out Taylor Swift. Don't get me wrong - Gaga will make enough to live comfortably the rest of her life.
Middleton is in a different league fro Gaga. What she wears is what a lot of women like to, or would like to, wear.
BTW: they are land mines. I guess "land minds" have never been to sea.
I think Lady Gaga is trying to say something with her clothes. To me her clothes scream, "You can't touch me, and I'm fake!" Not "judging" - just noticing.

Yes, I do believe a raw meat dress says don't touch me. However clothing does not tell the true character of any person. I know more about Lady Gaga than I do of Lady Kate. For all I know Kate might just want to be queen (or would she be Duchess?) I doubt Kate is marrying William for the title, but my point is you can't judge someone by how they dress. The clothing is fake, no matter how stylish or fugly it is.
Lady GaGa is an entertainer and has a great lalent as a performer. What she wears and how she would liked to be
looked is her problem and none of yours. There are those who liked her music and those who don't, but obviously
they don't bombard the radio stations with call to keep playing the songs off the air. We do not dismiss a person
we are not interested in by commenting despicable things where millions can read, do we? We all know what your
"inside" looks, show us your photos and let us be the judges of your "outside" as well.

Pennsylvania...Kate is marrying a prince, therefore she will be a princess, not a dutchess...when William becomes king then yes, she will be a queen... I highly doubt that is the reason she is marrying him...but who knows maybe she does just want to help out in the "mind" fields
Kate is a fake because royalty is exists in the mind. Not functioning in government, in name only. Even the Brittish has cut the queens salary due to budgets.
Lagy Gaga happens to be a genious, has talent and can earn her own money (200 million and growing). So the comparison is what Kate wore to a formal party and Gaga's work clothes. Is that how they have to cheat to win. Shame that the equation is not balanced. I can conceive that Gaga couture would be the cat's meow at a formal function, then look who is out in front ( again). Don't forget to watch the Grammies to see Lady Gaga!!!
She is worth nowhere near 200 million. Estimates have her pulling in around $65 mil last year. I highly doubt she is even worth 100 million.
