How is the Duchess of Cornwall training her 3-year-old granddaughter Eliza to perform at only the biggest wedding of the year? Camilla’s bridesmaid boot camp includes a tough reading schedule – of “Angelina and the Royal Wedding” from the “Angelina Ballerina” series, according to the U.K Daily Mail.
In the book, Angelina the mouse is preparing to be a bridesmaid at the summer palace of Mouseland. Ironically, the beloved rodent is so busy dancing that she completely forgets about the wedding and nearly misses the nuptials. (Perhaps it’s more of cautionary tale? Way to scare the kids, Camilla.)
Eliza is the child of Laura Lopes, Camilla's only daughter from her previous marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles. It’s reported that Camilla is quite the doting grandmother to her grandchildren, some of whom seem to need royal coaching. Other bridesmaids at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding will include:
- Lady Louise Windsor, 7, daughter of William's uncle, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
- The Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, 8, the daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Linley and Prince William's second cousin. She first came into public spotlight in 2006, when she Prince William swung the delighted 4-year-old into the air as they were walking to church for Christmas Day service.
- Grace van Cutsem, 3, godchild of Prince William. The royal family and the van Cutsems are reputedly very close and Prince William often stayed with the van Cutsems as a child.
